In preparation for the 2020 Election Year, the Center for Geography Education in Oregon and Classroom Law Project have partnered to provide a series of resources for teachers to use with their students.
The resources will go live in August. Classroom Law Project is looking forward to participating in this unique opportunity to show how Civics and Geography go together in multiple ways when we talk about elections, voting, and access. Included in the Resources will be modules on:
- Civic Community in your Neighborhood
- Virtual Field Trips
- Mail-In Voting Geography
- Redlining in Oregon
- Video Interviews with Oregon leaders on Indigenous issues, Women’s Suffrage, and more!
- With your registration, you will be able to access training, lesson plans, and materials to take and use immediately.
