2019 Summer Institute (location TBA)

June 24, 2019

Registration opens 2019.

Classroom Law Project’s Summer Institute is an intensive, 3-day collaborative seminar held at the end of each school year. Its purpose is to feed teachers’ minds, celebrate their expertise, and give them new tools and strategies as they plan for the coming year. CLP focuses the content of the Summer Institute on Oregon laws and issues so that educators can incorporate those learnings into their teaching about the national Constitution, government, and civics. Attendees learn from and interact with scholars and participate in active learning simulations and other fun strategies they can implement in the classroom. Plus, it’s three days of mingling with fellow Oregonian teachers and sharing ideas and fun!

Beginning at the December Civics Conference for Teachers, CLP will advertise the theme, dates, and registration details for the coming Summer Institute. Registration is usually open through late April and the Institute usually occurs the third week of June.
