In this fun new Moot Court from Civics Learning Project, the story of The Outsiders is extended into an appellate hearing based on a fictional court case that took place around a stabbing incident in the book. This is a fun way to extend learning for students reading The Outsiders, as well as a way to introduce issues around appellate hearings, constitutional arguments, and an examination of due process and the Sixth Amendment.
