Help us spread the word!
I’m writing to tell you about a great organization: Classroom Law Project. They are a non-profit organization of individuals, educators, lawyers, and civic leaders working to equip students with the knowledge, essential skills, and motivation to participate in our democracy. Last year, they reached over 95,000 students and 1,100 teachers in every part of Oregon.
Classroom Law Project programs change lives and make communities better. In the words of one student who participated, “It was with the help of the Classroom Law Project that I was able to… reflect deeply on what it means to be citizen of our community. In learning about the Constitution, I developed a deeper appreciation of the country I live in. I am proud to be an example of someone who was changed for the better by Classroom Law Project.”
You can support them during their Annual Fund drive by giving through the Willamette Week Give!Guide now through December 31. Your donation may also be eligible for a 100% match through their Oregon Reach Challenge.
Thank you for supporting this important work!
